Through the decades, doctors and scientists have come up with a number of medications to ease this monthly biological occurrence, only to find that women are only investing their money into a gambling ring of medications. Where as some of these medications provide the necessary comfort to get through the day, others are better being sugar pills. Aside from taking medications, there are other medical and natural ways for women to deal with figuring out ways on how to get rid of menstrual cramps.  In this article I will discuss some of the best ways to help a woman to get rid of her menstrual cramps and feel better.  Some of the methods I will highlight are the following:

  • Pain Medications

Pain Medications

How To Get Rid Of Menstrual Cramps Fast
There are tons of amazing pain medications out there that really allow girls to help them relieve the menstrual cramps. Depending on how sever a girls  cramps are can really influence how badly they will need pain medication or not.  There are pain medications that girls can get that are prescribed by their doctors or that they can find in any local convenience store or market.  Some popular pain pills that many women will get are medications such as Advil, Tylenol, Pamprin and Midol.
Midol is the ultimate pain medication that will help women in getting rid of their menstrual cramps.  Midol has marketed itself as the leading pain medication that is not only exclusive to women but it is also exclusive to helping women get rid of their menstrual cramps.  Midol will help alleviate all of the terrible symptoms that come along with a woman’s period. The symptoms that Midol alleviates are things such as cramping, bloating, mood swings, headaches, backaches and other horrible symptoms that come along with a woman’s menstrual cycle.  These symptoms are some of the worst around and they will literally make that one week for a woman the worst out of the month. Pain medications will help to alleviate the pain and make it much easier on the girl.

Exercise

I know that many women do not feel like working out while they are on their periods but working out has been proven to help alleviate the pain and cramping from their menstrual cycle.  Exercising will not only allow the muscles to become more relaxed it will also help to alleviate bloating as well as making a period much more lighter.  Exercises such as walking, running, aerobics and swimming can really help to alleviate the cramps that a woman can feel when she is going through that time of the month.

Lying Down

When experiencing menstrual cramps it is always wise to get yourself into a comfortable position.  Lying down on one’s side or balling up in the fetal position allows the pain from menstrual cramps to become much lighter.  For some reason the relaxation from lying down and balling up will help to take the pressure off from the pains that are created from the cramping.  It will also help to relax the muscles and therefore stop the cramping from forming.

Heat

Heat is one of the best remedies in helping to reduce the pain and severity of menstrual cramps.  Applying heat will help to calm the muscles and keep them from restricting inside of the girls abdomen.  Some of the best ways for a girl to apply heat is by wrapping herself up in an electric blanket. This will allow heat to completely consume her body and therefore allow her body to relax and become much more comfortable and will make the cramps numb and less painful.  Some other ways to apply heat is by relaxing in a warm bath, taking a hot shower, drinking some hot soup and hot tea as well.
Menstrual cramps may seem as though there is nothing to help them go away, but the truth is that there are a lot of different things that a woman can do to help rid herself of the cramping.  As long as a girl is aware of different methods such as using pain medications, heat, exercise, lying down and other things such as doing yoga, taking multi vitamins and being aware of all the options that are available to you.  If none of these things help to alleviate pain, it is really important for a girl to talk to her doctor and see what they could do.
