Hickies can be a sight of proud, steamy lovemaking but for most people, it can bring insecurity, shame and discomfort (No-one knows why!) The other option of hiding a hickey requires you to stand on grey moral grounds and lie gracefully! This means that you can conceal your hickey by wearing a nice bandage over it and by creating a background story that actually supports the bandage. Anything sensible could do. ‘A bee stung you’ or ‘a tree branch bruised your neck while you were walking in the park’ would be perfect stories for your bandage but try to avoid over kills. ‘A tiger attacked me’ etc isn’t going to make you a super hero; after all, it’s just a bandage! Just go with something plausible and stick to it.
The other option could be to apply make-up. This can be trouble some for boys/men but if they are embarrassed of showing a hickey, they shouldn’t be shy of applying a little make-up to conceal it. A nice make-up base can do the trick or a green tinge concealer and help you remove hickies in minutes. There’s no pain involved and what you only require is some basic make-up and an eye for a little creativity.
