Get Rid of Bees with Bee Repellent & Bee Spray

Bees are never pleasant. They sting, bite and buzz annoyingly in your ears and sometimes it’s just time to get rid of them. You can aim bee repellant directly at the nest or on the bees themselves.
In order to get rid of bees, you need to figure out what you’re dealing with. There are quite a few varieties of bees and, in order to get rid of your problem, you need to know what you’re dealing with. Make sure that you can identify what kind of bee-like creature it is that you’re dealing with..

You can’t eliminate bees without getting rid of their nest. Bees only go out in the daytime, usually, as they are diurnal. This makes it easier to spot them and locate the nest. It is usually best to look for them when the sun just starts to rise or when it just starts to set in the sky because that is when they will either make their way back to the nest or leave to go find food. It has been reported that a large crowd of shimmering wings is often found with large groups and this can make it easier to spot the nest.

Killing them is the only option. If you are positive that you want the bees gone, then you are going to have to kill them. Raid is a great product that can kill bees quickly and it can also take out the entire nest. This task is best done at night. Make sure that all of your skin is covered and wear thick bottoms as well as gloves, a large hat of some sort and a thick coat. Adding a face mask is a great option, as is tying rubber bands at the base of your shirt and pants to eliminate stings.

Have you killed the bees? Good, now go tackle the nest. Should the nest be left where it was originally found, other bees might come along and make it their home later on. That would not be a good thing for you. Make sure to kill the nest completely using Raid or some other comparative product. If the nest is in the walls or siding of your house, a professional might have to be called in in order to exterminate it and remove it safely. Make sure that, when killing the nest, you wear thick clothes. This provides a barrier between you and the bee’s stingers.
Killing bees with Raid isn’t the only option. Raid is a great product that provides quick and easy killing of those pesky bees, however, there is another (albeit, slower) method that you can use. It’s called boric acid. Boric acid is also referred to as Borax and it can kill bees just as it kills ants. In short, the boric acid gets onto a bee and that bee proceeds to walk back into the nest. Slowly, all of the bees are poisoned and the nest dies due to the poison. .
Killing Bees with Bee Spray VERSUS Killing Bees with Boric Acid
Almost every time I or others have had to get rid of bees, it was done with Raid. However, there are other ways to get rid of bees.  Boric acid (also known as borax, often sold as a fine powder) is a slow but certain remedy for killing bees that have made a nest in your siding. The reason for using borax dust is because sprays may not reach the hive if they’ve built the nest far enough into the wall. Borax works with bees much the same way it works with ants. The bees get the dust on themselves, and they bring it back into the nest with them, eventually poisoning the entire colony.
